Here are the possible causes behind your knee pain:
1. Osteoarthritis
It is the most common cause of knee pain, specially in females above 45 years, or the ones who have gone through menopause, although male are also not behind in this Arthritis race.

3. Housemaid’s Knee
Housemaid’s knee is not common in housemaids only now a days, it used to occur in the housemaids, due to friction between the floor and the knees while sweeping the floor. The main symptoms are pain and redness only in front of the knee, swelling and stiffness are also generally confined to the front.
